“The FOREST” exhibition at NeHe Arts Centre
The art project “The FOREST” was developed by the Arboreal Collective in collaboration with the Lab for Animation, Department of Fine Arts, Cyprus University of Technology. Dr Milto Miltiadou (https://twitter.com/DrMiltiadou) from the Laboratory of Geodesy (https://celestia.eu/), Civil Engineering and Geomatics, Cyprus University of Technology and Natasa Ioannou from Friends of the Earth (Cyprus) were invited to give a seminar about “Forests and Climate Change” as part of the ASTARTE (EXCELLENCE/0918/0341) project. The moderator of the seminar was Dr Eliza Patouris from RESET-Research and Education in Social Empowerment and Transformation. Dr Milto Miltiadou and Natasa Ioannou explained our results of the climate change and forest related questionnaire (https://www.mdpi.com/1999-4907/12/9/1152/htm) and how we use satellite data to understand the impact of land surface temperature on forest vegetation over time (https://www.mdpi.com/2072-4292/14/4/1010).
